Tennis anyone?

Today Dollface and I went to the tennis club where she and some friends attempted to play a game. Key word, attempted!!!!!!!!

They were pretty funny but all in all they had a good time. Only a couple more weeks of school and summer break begins. She can hardly wait!!!!!!

Where are they?

I'm in the process of going through my spring and summer clothes and do you know I can not find my cute, cute, cute black sandals from last year. I think I gave them away by mistake when I was donating a bunch of stuff to charity last year.

I'm sooooooooo hurt. I loveded them shoes man!!!!!!!!!!

I have a couple of more places to look. I haven't tackled the closet in the play room and I haven't looked in this one storage bin up in the spare "junk" room.

I hope I find them, along with several other pairs of sandals too now that I'm thinking about it.

Um, a sista is still feeling poorly. No matter what I do, I can not get rid of this headache. The poison is definitely working cause I swear yall, damn, I feel awful!!!!!!!!!!

Day after chemo

Chemo #4 is over and done with, Praise Him!!! Only 2 more to go, Praise Him!!!!!!!

I feel like crap on a stick today, Praise Him!!!!!! I could feel like nothing and be dead huh? Still praising Him for everything because he is holding me steady throughout this whole ordeal.

Had some raisin toast and a chocolate Ensure, now I'm on my way back to bed cause the puke monster is trying to get me. UGH!!!!!!!

Tomorrow will be better and for that I'm grateful!!!!!!!

Happy Mother's Day

Yesterday mom and I went to a prayer breakfast at the place where she goes for exercise and bible study. Ooh I was soooooooo sleepy. I really am not a morning person so I had to drink a strong cup of coffee. You know them chuuch folk be makin' that strong azz coffee!!!! I needed it too LOL!!!

The breakfast was really good and the men of the church were in the kitchen. Don't cha just love a man that can cook?!

Today I went to church with mom. We go to different churches, same religion but different all the same. After church my brother grilled some chicken wings, drumsticks, turkey hotlinks and turkey burgers. I made some side dishes like mac-n-cheese, pole beans, corn cobbettes and hushpuppies. For dessert I made lemon blossoms, courtesy of Pau.la D.een. To live for good and banana pudding.

Wishing all of you mothers out there a wonderful Mother's Day, whether you are a mother by birth or by heart *like me*, I honor and appreciate each and everyone of you!!!

Now what?

On Wednesday I went for genetic counseling and I was told that I have a strong possibility of carrying the gene that is synanamous with colorectal cancer. So they suggested that I take the test to assess it. Today while I was having my weekly labs I took that test as well and we will know the results in about two weeks. *sigh*

Once again I was told that cancer is not hereditary, that it is acquired.

Yall know how I feel about that acquired bs right?

Uh huh it still stands.

I have an 82% chance of carrying this fucked up gene.

I so am not trying to hear none of this mess!!!!!

But it's tripping me out big time.

I'm tired yall.

Just tired of all the tests and doctors and chemo.

I love my docs but I'm tired of going to the hospital every single week, sometimes 2 and 3 times a week.

I'm tired.

I am not giving up, oh helllllllllllzzzzzzzzz no.

I'm jus sayin'.
