It's that time of year again

Yall know how my Dollface gets down every year at school with the Heritage Awards. Yes this is like the 5 or 6th time she's been selected to take part and once again we had to have a talk BEFOREHAND. I told little chica that there would be no pouting, no crying and no bad sportsmanship. I also let her know that if she acted a plum fool this year if her team by chance didn't come in first place, that I would not be coming back to support her ever again. Uh yall know that was a lie but I had to say something to let her know that all that snotting and crying wasn't cute.

Her team came in third place...

I don't even have to tell yall that she wasn't pleased right?

This is the first time in years where we didn't have to hug it out cause she fixed her face real quick when she saw me give her the eye!

It's always something with me

Need your prayers folks. Went to my usual doctor's appointments and they both felt something under my left arm. * sigh* Had to get another mammogram and an ultrasound. They see a mass. *sigh*
Biopsy scheduled for this coming Thursday *major sigh*
With my cancer history they want to be certain that it is not malignant.
I freaked the hell out for about 30 minutes, had a good cry and talked to a strong azz sistafriend who allowed me my time to cry and get it out of my system. Then she told me to take my azz and go exercise cause she is my exercise Nazi!!! LOL!!!!! OOOOhhhhh I surely needed that workout too. I felt good afterwards.
I would be surely lying if I said I wasn't worried but I prayed and had a serious talk with God. He hasn't failed me yet and I don't anticipate Him to do so now. Please keep me in your prayers though. I will update when I get the results.
In the meantime I'm hosting our book club meeting today. We read Mary Higgins Clark's No Place Like Home. It was sooooo good, a page turner mos def!!! So now I must get up and start my day.

Still going to the docs every three months for follow ups. Still having bloodwork done every 3 months, Still taking cat scans every 6 months but baby I'm still here!!!

Comfort zone

Tonight, thanks to my blogging friend in Arizona, I will be participating in my first ever speed dating event. Whew lord, pray for your girl over here. I soooooooooo will be stepping out of my comfort zone. If anything I will be laughing my ass off cause I know some tomfoolery is going to pop off. The reviewers on the club site had me rolling!!! The one question they kept asking was, "WHAT IS THE AGE RANGE?" Folks kept asking this question over and over again, cause they didn't want to be chattin' it up with folks their daughters age, or folks their dads age.

CHILE PLEASE!!!!! Just call me MS. COUGAR tonight cause I am shole in the age range they specifically said they don't want. 40+ Boooooooo on yall little kids!!!

Muy pics will be taken and my name and occupation will most assuredly change with every, fool that comes my way!!!

Tonight is going to be something else!!!

I am a lovin' my Wii Fit baby!!!! I'm doing step aerobics everyday and that hula hoop thingy, chile please. The Dollface came over today after school and she is a pro at the hula hoop. She did some yoga poses on there and she was like this is kinda hard!!! I was laughing my head off when she was trying to dodge the soccer balls they were throwing at her in another one of the games. The players were throwing their cleats at her. HYSTERICAL!!!!!!!

Trying to stay away from the health club for at least two weeks til the New Year resolutioners have given up and gone on their way. *smh* You know that is gonna happen. Wii fit is cool. I got in really good workout today. Back on the sticker program as well. That is when I put a sticker on the wall calendar for everyday that I workout. So that gives me a sense of what I'm doing and is a reminder that hey I need to get my butt up and move. Five stickers so far ;-)

My mom must have told me no less than 10 times that she really had a good Christmas and that she could surely go back on The Oasis of The Seas again. I agree. We had a good time and that ship is the bizznesssss baby!!!

Talked to one of my blogging friends last night and she cracks me up. I hope I can meet her one day. I would love to go to Arizona, I've never been. Maybe one day.

Birds and fish dying all around us? What's up with that? I don't understand it at all.

My Troubled Soul will be home soon. Well outta the joint soon. He can not live here. I like living a drama free life but he will have his freedom and I'm happy. He's scared but only he can turn his life around. I stay on my knees praying for that boy!!

Can not believe it's Friday once again. Time is flying for real.

Love, love, love my Ipad I got for Christmas. I mean totally addicted to it. You can put a Kindle, Nook and all those other e-readers on it. Mom already read one of her favorites (J.D. Robb) on it. I think she has read every book in the Death series. Sounds morbid but it's Sci-fi-ish/Thriller/Suspensyish. Apple rocks man!!!

Da Mayors brother better not muck it up for us. President Obi is keeping his Chicago ties strong up in the White House and I loves it!!!

Dollface is experiencing what cliques are all about. She's on the outside looking in and it's hurtful to her :-( Why do they have to be so mean to my doll? I hate it when she's sad. She cried for two days because she wasn't invited to one of the cliques birthday parties. She says they don't like her and they talk about her. Breaks my freaking heart.

5th grade man, just UGH!!!! Heard it gets worse as they get older. UGH!!!!!! Hope she realizes they are soooooo not worth it but at age 10, I'm sure it doesn't seem that way.

I'm going to spoil her a little extra this weekend. She can be in my clique, LOL!!!
